Unit 6 Colours  (第一课时)

教学目标:

1.  复习衣服类单词:skirt, jacket, sweater, coat

2.  掌握black, blue, brown, green, orange, red, white, yellow这八个颜色类单词。

3.  复习句型Look at my…. 以及赞扬类的句子。

4.  新授句型What colour is it? What colour is my …? It’s…. I like….

5.  使学生能够熟练运用所学句型和单词。

6.  了解色彩的含义。

教学重点:

1.  掌握四会单词black, blue, brown, green, orange, red, white, yellow

2.  掌握新授句型What colour is it? What colour is my …? It’s…. I like….

教学难点:

熟练掌握单词与句型,并且能够在具体情境中正确的交流。

教学过程:

Step1: Warming up

(课前播放songs)

1.  Greeting:

 T: Shall we start?

 Ss: Yes.

 T: Good morning, boys and girls.

 Ss: Good morning, Miss Jiang.

2.  Free talk:

T: How are you?

S1:Fine, thank you. And you?

T: I’m fine too.     2

T: Are you …?

S1:Yes, I am.

T: Nice to meet you.

S1: Nice to meet you, too.    2

T: Are you …?

S1:No, I’m not.

 T: What’s your name?

 S1:I’m….

 T: Nice to meet you.

 S1: Nice to meet you, too.     

 T: Hey, boy/girl. Look at your coat. It’s nice.

 S1: Thank you.    2

   T: Can you introduce your clothes to us?

 (学生举手回答)Look at my…

 (教师引导) We can say It’s nice/ great. How nice! Great.

   T: Anyone else? /Who can?          4-5

(课前播放所学过的歌曲可以缓解教师与学生的紧张情绪,舒缓气氛。Warming up中设置的自由对话可以加深师生间的相互了解,为有效的课堂教学做好铺垫。)

Step2:  Presentation

1.教学单词white, black

T: Great. Boys and girls, look at my sweater.  

Ss: It’s nice/ great.

T: Thank you. It’s white. I like white.

  出示单词卡white

  Here’s the letter “i” is pronounced/ai/.

  Look at these words.   出示words: bike rice kite

  It makes me remember a chant. Let’s chant together.

T: Look at my skirt. 

Ss: How nice! Great.

T: Thank you. It’s black. I like black, too.

  出示单词卡black

  Here’s the letter “a” pronounces/æ/.

 Look at these words. 出示wordslamp cap, bat

  It makes me remember a chant, let’s chant together.

(本部分教授whiteblack两个单词,教师将自己的照片放在PPT上出示给学生看,联系Unit5所学句型Look at….It’s nice.等句型引导学生回答照片中教师所穿衣物的颜色,并且教授这两个颜色类单词。通过回忆已学过单词的发音引导学生认识到字母ia在单词中的发音。)

2.教学单词 blue, brown以及句型What colour is my skirt now? What colour is it now? It’s….

T: Now, boys and girls. Look carefully, I’ll do magic.

First, look at my dress. It’s black. (PPT7 blackblue转换) What colour is my dress now?

出示板书What colour is my …  now?

Ss: It’s blue.

T: It’s blue. 先出示板书It’s…. 再出示blue, 小组读.

T: Look again, PPT7 Bluebrown转换)what colour is it now? 出示句型what colour is it now?着重读itPay attention here it means my dress

SsIt’s brown.

T: Yes. 出示brown,带读,重读owow pronounce/au/,开火车读1组。

(本部分教授单词 blue, brown以及句型What colour is my skirt now? What colour is it now? It’s….教师利用多媒体do magic,出示PPT,将PPT中教师身上的dress由黑色变为蓝色,然后教授句型What colour is my skirt now?It’s….以及单词blue。然后再将dress的颜色由蓝色变为棕色,教授句型What colour is it now? It’s….以及单词brown。在此强调“it”的用法,指代上文的dress。在教授单词brown时强调字母组合“ow”的发音。教师采用自己照片的方式来教授单词与句型会比较直观,有效,学生易懂并且感兴趣。)

3.  Story time

T: Boys and girls, do you like my magic?

Ss: Yes, I do.

T: Look, Yang Ling is doing magic, too.

(出示课文图1

 (教师指着杨玲的裙子提问)What colour is it?

Ss:Orange.

T: Yes, It’s orange. You’re very clever.

(出示单词卡,教授单词orange

T: Ok. What colour is Yang Ling’s skirt now? Let’s watch。播放视频

问题What colour is Yang Ling’s skirt now?

 Who can answer?

Ss: It’s green.

T: Yes, it’s green. (出示It’s green. 再出示单词卡,教授green)

Pay attention ee pronounce i:∕  Look at these words.

It makes me remember a chant.

T: What colour is it now. Let’s go on watching (播放视频)

问题What colour is it now?

Ss: It’s red and yellow.

T: 出示It’s red and yellow.

教授red Herepay attention to the letter e, it pronounces /e/.

 Look at the three words, it makes me remember …

T: Now, look at this word yellow. 出示单词卡,开火车读一组。重读owow pronounce /au/

Compare brown and yellow./au/ /au/ brown  brown /eu/ /eu/ yellow yellow

TToday, we have learned so many words , Let’s read them together. ….

TGood. All these words are about colours.出示单词卡colours.

Let’s watch the story again and try to imitate.

视频:文章story time 部分。Now, open your books, and read story time together.

(由上一部分的do magic引到story time中杨林也在表演魔术,这样的衔接更自然。本部分主要是教授story time的完整对话以及单词orangegreenredyellow以及colour的单复数及其意义。通过播放杨林变魔术的动画的形式吸引学生注意力,培养学生观察力。在教授单词时注重字母组合ee,字母e以及字母组合ow的发音,并且比较区分字母组合ow在单词yellowbrown中的不同发音。在最后,再次观看卡通并且要求学生模仿卡通中人物的语音语调进行朗读,有助于培养学生的英语语音语调。)

Step3: Consolidation

1.  Enjoy a cartoon

T: Oh, boys and girls. You’ve done a good job. Let’s have a rest and enjoy a cartoon.

T:播放卡通。

(本部分播放卡通为经典电影白雪公主中皇后配制药水的选段。本部分主要目的为在放松学生课堂学习紧张情绪的同时复习上半节课所学的颜色类单词。)

2: Match the colours

T: It’s time to come back. I’ll give you a task. Now, take out your word cards.

Look at the blackboard. There is a big colourful flower.

Please match the word cards with the flower. Okay?

(播放colour song

(在课前,教师给学生分发了颜色类单词的卡片。在上半节课教师教授单词的同时将不同颜色的花瓣贴于黑板成为一朵花,此刻,教师需要学生将手中的颜色类单词卡贴于想对应颜色的花瓣中,其目的主要是为了检测上半节学生对所学颜色类单词的掌握程度,是否能够区分不同颜色的单词,这样一个活动对于学生来说是比较新颖有趣的,因此很受学生的欢迎。在学生活动的同时,播放背景歌曲Colour song,为后面部分做铺垫,让学生先熟悉这首歌曲。)

(本部分教师选取了一部分学生的照片,对照片中学生的衣服进行了颜色的修改,制作出与第一部分中教师变魔术一样的效果,让学生来利用所学句型以及颜色进行问答)

4.  Brainstorming

As we have learned so many colours, do you know some meanings about colours?

Who can?

(在本课尾声,教师又设计了一个头脑风暴,即让学生展开想象,想想颜色的一些内涵及代表意义,最后由教师进行总结,在教师进行总结的时候播放轻音乐,能够使学生一节课的紧张情绪得以放松一下。)

Step 4: Enjoy a song—Colour song

It’s time for us to enjoy a song about colours.

(最后,欣赏并且学习歌曲Colour song,寓教于乐,轻松学唱。)

Step 5: Homework

1.  Copy and recite the new words.

2.  Read and recite story time.

(作业设计的是对单词以及文章的巩固复习。)
